Speechless. Wow’d. Captioning beauty. 

I cannot thank everyone enough for the hard work, dedication and support each person has given me throughout this period. 

Of course, after each project, feedback is crucial for further exploration and improvement. I’ve received a lot of comments about this project, where the ride has been equally emotional as it was anticipated, leading to be ultimately rewarding. My professors, my peers, my friends and professional partners had all given tremendous support. I’m so honored to be able to write my reflection in the midst of warmth and care.

that soon became the words audibly heard within the video soundtrack. The written pieces may not have all come through in the short film, but each word stems from the various different poems written below.

Editing…Notes…Revision…Edit…

A never ending cycle…or so it seems. 

After collecting the footages in two hard drives (one for the editor, one as backup or for yourself), once you have solidified your deadlines and the people to work with, you send one of the hard drives off to the editor to communicate revisions, refining the work until you are satisfied. 

A couple things to make note of: 

Lights. Camera. Action.

The glamour, the sounds, the imagery taking place live action, beautiful reenactment of pain and remorse but also light, warmth and breath…

Stop—let’s backtrack.

There isn’t much to write about this except that logistics and planning will never cease to end even until the day after the shoot. Everything prior is like a whirlwind, tossing and turning until you have finally got everything somewhat under control during the shoot.
